Havin’ the Chats

There’s nothing like having a natter with friends over a cup of tea and some biccies! So when Jacob’s Biscuits asked us to raise awareness and drive traffic to their Instagram channel, we knew that tea and chats were the only way forward.

Doireann Garrihy came on board as our resident chatterbox and the “Havin’ the Chats” campaign was launched. Over a cuppa and some Jacob’s biscuits, the popular influencer hosted an Ask Me Anything Q&A session answering all sorts of burning questions from interactive Jacob’s followers. The outcome was a series of snackable content videos with Doireann sharing her fun thoughts about everyday topics and biscuits of course!

To take full advantage of Instagram’s capabilities, we created longer-form content for IGTV, shorter snippets for the feed, and vertical video for stories, which went down a treat! The campaign proved to be hugely successful, with a 398% increase in followers and a 619% growth in reach across social channels – proving that when you’re in the mood for the chats it’s time to stick the kettle on and grab some Jacob’s Biscuits!
